In addition to arranging numerous songs for the band, Warren also applied his skills to writing orginal compositions. The pictured score is called Tone Poem, scored for six saxophones and rhythm sections. He also wrote and conducted a choir anthem for his church, Village Presbyterian Church at 67th and Mission. The piece was called Light the Way. It is written for flute, organ, and choir using almost one hundred voices.
